Clarendon Hills Romas Grenache 2018

Clarendon Hills Romas Grenache patch is the steepest, rockiest section of the Blewitt Springs Grenache vineyard. Gnarly old vines planted in the 1940’s produce microscopic yields and amazing acidity, with final pH similar to that of a white wine. Taste the terroir of Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale in this old vine, unfiltered, hand made flagship example.

“So complex, this has exotic red fruit, such as pomegranate, as well as red berries, rust, orange peel and blood orange on offer. The palate has a very rich and layered feel with fine yet assertive tannins layering up long and seamless. The intensity and purity is impressive from this steep section of their Blewitt Springs Vineyard. Drink over a decade or more.”
